MWL Secretary General Engages in Diplomatic Talks with Gambia and Guinea-Bissau.


Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa has met separately with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Gambia, Dr. Mamadou Tangara, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Guinea-Bissau, Carlos Pinto Pereira, at his office in Riyadh. During the meetings, the officials discussed various topics of mutual interest, exploring areas for collaboration and strengthening ties between the MWL and the two countries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions aimed to enhance diplomatic relationships and identify opportunities for cooperation in cultural and educational fields. The meetings underscored the importance of fostering mutual understanding and solidarity among Muslim nations, with a commitment to addressing common challenges. The MWL, under the leadership of Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa, continues to play a pivotal role in facilitating dialogue and collaboration among its member states.
