Davos: Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef discussed enhancing bilateral economic cooperation and exploring opportunities to develop partnerships in the industrial and mining sectors in separate meetings with counterparts from the Republic of South Africa and India's Tamil Nadu state.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions took place on the sidelines of Alkhorayef's participation in the Kingdom's high-level delegation at the 2025 annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), held in the Swiss city of Davos from January 20 to 24.
During the meeting with the South African Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Mpho Parks Tau, Alkhorayef discussed investment opportunities in the industrial and mining sectors of both countries. They also reviewed the progress of joint committees aimed at strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
Meeting with Tamil Nadu Minister of Industry, Investment Promotion, and Trade Dr. T.R.B. Raja, Alkhorayef explored ways to enhance cooperation in the industrial sector. The discussions included a review of available investment opportunities between the two sides, focusing on mutual benefits and growth.
