Qassim:The College of Engineering at Qassim University has achieved a significant milestone by obtaining European Accreditation (EUR-ACE) for seven of its academic programs. This accreditation follows the program-level accreditation previously granted by the German agency ASIIN, further enhancing the college's reputation in engineering education.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the European accreditation encompasses three bachelor's programs in electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering, and four master's programs in renewable energy, electrical, civil, and mechanical engineering. This recognition highlights the quality and adherence of these programs to international standards in engineering education.
The college's diverse range of national and international accreditations, including those from the US-based Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), signifies its academic excellence. These credentials affirm the effectiveness of the college's educational and research systems and the high quality of its graduates.
These accreditations not only bolster the confidence of employers in the qualifications of the college's graduates but also enhance their competitiveness in both local and international job markets. The achievements are in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on developing human capabilities and preparing skilled national talent for future leadership roles.
