Makkah: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has upgraded its mobility services for pilgrims and worshippers through a new unified transportation platform. This advancement marks a crucial step towards improving the ease and efficiency of booking transportation at the Grand Mosque.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the enhanced platform allows users to pre-book wheelchairs and golf carts by specifying their preferred destination, date, and time. It also provides electronic payment options and comprehensive technical support to ensure a smooth experience for users.

The authority highlighted that the upgraded platform now features a redesigned interface aimed at improving the user experience for pilgrims. It also supports unified access through the Nafath national authentication system and offers flexible payment options, including Apple Pay, to cater to a wide range of user preferences.

Accessible in seven languages, the platform includes a spatial guidance system that clearly indicates the locations of available wheelchairs and carts, with options for both paid and free services.
