Riyadh: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque provided 1,370,185 free Iftar meals at the Prophet's Mosque during the Hajj season 1446H, from Dhu Al-Qidah 1 to Dhu Al-Hijjah 29.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the free meals were distributed in designated areas inside the mosque, the courtyards, and the rooftop. The initiative followed strict food safety and health standards and was implemented efficiently under the supervision of specialists, with support from volunteer teams throughout the season.
The meal service is part of the authority's broader efforts to serve pilgrims and visitors, ensuring a spiritually enriching experience that aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
