GASTAT Receives Omani Government Delegation

Riyadh, The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) hosted Omani government delegation at its headquarters in Riyadh. The delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, the Ministry of Labor, the National Center for Statistics and Information, and the National Center for Records and Data. The visit aimed to gain insights into GASTAT's expertise in various fields. Both sides emphasized the significance of sharing expertise, enhancing cooperative roles between government institutions and sectors, and transferring knowledge between the two countries to advance the mutual goals of Gulf cooperation. The visit sought to engage with specialists and understand GASTAT's role in tourism statistics and the methods of collaborating with stakeholders in the tourism industry. The delegation aimed to learn about data collection and analysis techniques to support policymakers and decision-makers in both countries and individuals involved in tourism activities.
