The index was based on a comprehensive evaluation of 50 digital platforms, assessed across four main perspectives and 20 indicators, including beneficiary satisfaction, user experience, complaint handling, and the use of technologies and tools.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Governor of the Digital Government Authority Ahmad Bin Mohammed Alsuwaiyan said the results reflect the commitment of government entities to improving the quality of digital services and enhancing beneficiary satisfaction. These efforts are part of an integrated national approach to deliver an easy, safe, and efficient digital experience that improves quality of life, facilitates business, and enhances government performance.

He expressed appreciation for the support and empowerment from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which has been instrumental in advancing digital transformation.

This year's index recorded growth compared to 2024, both in terms of scope and engagement. The number of evaluated platforms increased from 39 to 50, and the number of participating beneficiaries exceeded 374,000.

The results showed that the top 10 digital platforms distinguished themselves, all achieving an 'Advanced' level. The Digital Government Authority continues to annually update the methodology of the Digital Experience Maturity Index to align with the latest global trends and reinforce Saudi Arabia's position as a leader in digital transformation. The Kingdom has earned significant international recognition, ranking first in the region in the Electronic and Mobile Government Services Maturity Index for 2024, issued by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
