Riyadh: Design Space AlUla, located in the AlJadidah Arts District, welcomes visitors to a unique exhibition highlighting cultural heritage and innovative designs that reflect AlUla's identity and rich history. This event coincides with the AlUla Arts Festival, adding a deeper cultural dimension to the region's thriving creative scene.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this year's exhibition features an exceptional addition, as it showcases, for the first time, artworks created within the Madrasat Addeera exhibition. This distinctive blend of heritage and creativity reflects the deep interaction between past and present, reviving the artistic and craft heritage of the region in a contemporary style.
Visitors are invited on a multi-sensory journey, exploring AlUla's natural beauty and traditional craftsmanship through textures, scents, sounds, and visuals. The exhibition narrates the transformation of Madrasat Addeera from a historic girls' school into a vibrant hub for arts and creativity.
The exhibition runs until April 19, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse fusion of authentic handicrafts and modern creative visions designed by local artists from AlUla alongside a group of international artists.
Design Space AlUla serves as a new artistic hub celebrating the works of leading designers from Saudi Arabia and abroad. Drawing inspiration from AlUla's natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage, the space aims to foster artistic exploration and creative expression through interactive programs that encourage collaboration among designers from different countries, making it a dynamic meeting point for diverse ideas and styles.
