Riyadh, The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and Garage have announced in a press release the registration for the Space Tech Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, which aims to attract new investments, promote national capabilities, support innovation, and expand research and development in the sector. The six-month program is part of the Space Entrepreneurship project, which includes four key phases, starting with a hackathon that brings together innovators to solve the sector's technical challenges, followed by a training boot camp to develop solution prototypes in collaboration with experts. It then moves to the incubation phase that provides financial support to enter the space market and, finally, establishes the space entrepreneurship communities. The program is part of CST's efforts to develop a solid infrastructure that supports entrepreneurs while enabling innovation, supporting national competencies, and utilizing international expertise.
