Ceasefire Agreement in Gaza Takes Effect

General

Gaza: A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip took effect today, ending 470 days of relentless Israeli aggression that resulted in over 46,000 Palestinian martyrs, more than 110,000 injured, most of them women and children, and widespread destruction of camps and cities across the Strip.

According to Saudi Press Agency, with the ceasefire now in place, thousands of displaced Palestinians began returning to their devastated homes and residential areas. United Nations officials confirmed the arrival of hundreds of aid and fuel trucks through Gaza's crossings, marking a critical step in addressing the humanitarian crisis.

The Palestinian government announced it will convene a special meeting to discuss emergency relief plans for the Gaza Strip. The government emphasized that relief efforts will prioritize delivering essential supplies, such as food, medicine, water, tents, and mobile homes, to support nearly 2 million Palestinians affected by the aggression.
