Riyadh: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has achieved a significant milestone by receiving nine international certifications in the field of performance management. This achievement includes an Integrated Performance certification, marking ZATCA as the first entity in the Kingdom and the Middle East to attain the highest level across all assessment domains, as per the internationally recognized Global Performance Audit Unit assessment by The KPI Institute.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Integrated Performance certification was awarded due to ZATCA's success in reaching the fifth level in five critical assessment areas: strategic planning, performance measurement, performance improvement, employee performance management, and performance culture. This comprehensive achievement underscores the authority's commitment to excellence in performance management.
Additionally, ZATCA earned specific certifications in strategic planning, performance measurement, performance improvement, employee performance management, and performance culture by achieving the highest level in each area. This accomplishment highlights ZATCA's strategic focus and dedication to enhancing its operational effectiveness.
The authority also received three more certifications recognizing its outstanding performance management capabilities. These include the Synergy Excellence certification, which acknowledges the enhanced performance and maturity of excellence through collaboration across ZATCA's sectors and agencies. The Transformation Excellence certification was awarded for advancing from level four to level five, reflecting improved performance maturity through institutional transformation initiatives. Lastly, the Acknowledgement certification was conferred for demonstrating exceptional organizational performance maturity.
