ZATCA Facilitates Hajj Procedures for Arriving Pilgrims from Istanbul within Makkah Route Initiative

Istanbul, The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) actively provides customs services to pilgrims arriving from Istanbul as part of the Makkah Route Initiative. This initiative is a program of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and falls under the framework of the Pilgrim Experience Program. ZATCA aims to simplify customs procedures for pilgrims and their luggage at the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah. The authority utilizes the latest security technologies and collaborates with other participating parties. The Makkah Route Initiative is being implemented for the sixth year in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj and Umrah, Media, the General Authority of Civil Aviation, ZATCA, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
