Yemen’s Representative to UN Appreciates Saudi Arabia’s Support for His Country

Yemen’s permanent representative to the UN, Abdullah Al-Saadi, appreciated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continuous political, economic, and development support in the implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The official Yemeni News Agency (Saba) quoted Al-Saadi as saying Wednesday in the Security Council that this support comes as a translation of the depth, strength, and privacy of the relations between Yemen and the Kingdom.

He pointed out that the latest amount of support worth $1.2 billion announced by the Kingdom is designated to provide generous economic support to Yemen, backing the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government.

Saudi economic support will address the general budget deficit, enable the government to implement various economic, financial, and monetary reforms, and carry out its responsibilities in stabilizing service conditions, food security, and the national currency.
