Washington: In an UN-backed statement, the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized that over 10,000 people, including children, require urgent medical evacuation from Gaza. WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called for their sustained medical evacuation and timely passage through all possible routes. Meanwhile, WHO teams and partners have successfully delivered medical supplies for roughly 20,000 patients at Al-Ahli and Al-Sahaba hospitals, along with 19,000 liters of fuel. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) raised concerns about restricted access and safety issues hindering aid efforts in Gaza, leaving hundreds of thousands facing food shortages. OCHA reported that Israeli authorities have blocked or rejected over half of the planned aid missions. Source: Saudi Press Agency
