WAMY Commends Saudi Arabia’s Pioneering Model for Women’s Empowerment on International Women’s Day

Riyadh: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) commended the significant efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support and empower women on the occasion of International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8. The assembly emphasized that Saudi women’s achievements reflect the Kingdom’s comprehensive development approach.



According to Saudi Press Agency, WAMY stated that the Kingdom has presented a pioneering model for empowering women and providing them with opportunities to actively participate in the development process, as women have become essential partners in national development and community work, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which considers women’s empowerment a main pillar.



WAMY noted that its global humanitarian and development programs prioritize women’s empowerment by supporting education, vocational training, and capacity building, alongside social welfare programs aimed at mothers and families. These initiatives strengthen women’s roles in developing and advancing their societies.



The assembly affirmed that the support and empowerment enjoyed by women in the Kingdom reflect the leadership’s wise vision and its belief in the capabilities of Saudi women and their vital role in shaping the future.
