Al-ahsa: The heritage and tourist sites in Al-Ahsa Governorate carry a rich history, offering visitors a glimpse of the past and the beauty of the Ramadan atmosphere, with decorations such as illuminated lanterns and lights in various shapes and colors.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the streets and alleys around the archaeological and tourist sites are adorned with a variety of decorations featuring geometric and artistic designs, attracting both residents and tourists and creating captivating scenes that enhance the enjoyment of the Ramadan atmosphere.
Chairman of the Archeology and Heritage Society in Eastern Region, Saud Al-Gosaibi, noted that residents of Al-Ahsa have become accustomed each year during the holy month to installing Ramadan lanterns and light decorations in front of their homes and along neighborhood roads and streets. These decorations are also placed in heritage and tourist areas across the governorate, serving as an expression of joy for the holy month.
He added that the Ramadan decorations give a distinctive visual character reflecting the spirituality of the holy month and its deeply rooted beautiful traditions that bring joy and happiness. They transform the houses of Al-Ahsa into artistic scenes, giving the governorate a unique character that combines authentic traditions and allows residents and visitors to experience the beauty of the past.
