Riyadh: Under the patronage of Minister of Justice Walid Al-Samaani, Vice Minister of Justice Dr. Najem bin Abdullah Al-Zaid today inaugurated the Second International Judicial Training Conference, organized by the Ministry of Justice through the Judicial Training Center. The event, themed 'Excellence in Judicial Training: Innovation in Tools and Methodologies,' was attended by specialists and legal experts from around the world.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in his opening remarks, Al-Zaid emphasized that the Kingdom is experiencing a legislative renaissance led by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, aimed at strengthening legal principles, guaranteeing rights, enhancing transparency, and increasing legal certainty. He noted that an integrated system of specialized legislation has been launched within this framework to align with the aspirations of Vision 2030.
Highlighting that investment in human capital is the cornerstone of building a modern judicial system, the vice minister stated that the Judicial Training Center continues to implement programs to qualify judges and train all members of the judicial sector, including lawyers, judicial assistants, notaries, conciliators, and enforcement service providers. He stressed that the conference seeks to advance an integrated judicial training model that keeps pace with developments and aligns with supporting capabilities and tools.
The conference aims to exchange international expertise and explore ways to develop judicial training by reviewing global best practices and innovating methodologies that contribute to raising the quality of judicial performance.
The event features broad international participation from judicial institutes and training bodies worldwide, reinforcing its role as a global platform for knowledge exchange and partnership-building in judicial training. A total of 32 speakers and experts from 16 countries are taking part in the program, which includes nine workshops and three dialogue sessions addressing advanced topics such as the role of scientific research and innovation in shaping judicial training strategies, modern methods for measuring the impact of training programs, and case studies of pioneering international experiences in the field.
