Vibrant Ramadan Markets Bring Culture and Commerce to Jazan

Jazan: The Jazan Municipality is preparing 27 Ramadan markets across Jizan city and the region's governorates as part of ongoing efforts to support families working in the cottage industry, regulate street vending, and create organized and attractive shopping destinations that reflect the spirit of the holy month.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these markets are designed to provide local families with opportunities to boost their income and showcase a wide range of products, including traditional and Ramadan foods, handicrafts, textiles, perfumes and incense, cosmetics, and accessories.

Mayor of Jazan Yahya Al-Ghazwani stated that the markets are part of a comprehensive municipal plan to enhance the shopping experience for residents and stimulate economic activity during Ramadan in a safe, well-regulated environment.

He further emphasized the municipality's commitment to implementing safety and quality standards for market preparation, including organizing sales areas and providing essential services such as parking, lighting, and sanitation.
