General

Riyadh: The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque launched a new digital service through its official website that allows visitors of the Grand Mosque to view real-time crowd-density levels at the Mataf (circumambulation area) and Masa (area for Sai).

According to Saudi Press Agency, the service aims to enhance the pilgrim experience by helping them plan the optimal time to visit the Mataf and Masa areas based on current crowd conditions. The system displays live visual data through an easy-to-use interface, enabling pilgrims to make informed decisions and contributing to smoother movement and reduced congestion inside the Grand Mosque.

The initiative is part of the authority's ongoing efforts to advance digital services and improve the overall quality of services at the Two Holy Mosques, in line with continuous improvement principles and the needs of pilgrims during their rituals.

The authority encouraged all visitors of the Grand Mosque to make use of the service and interact with it to help ensure optimal organization while performing rituals.
