Twitter Allows Uploading Videos for Twitter Blue Subscribers

Twitter started Tuesday making available the feature of downloading videos posted on the platform to subscribers of the paid Twitter Blue service.

Twitter said on its official website that the owners of verified accounts can download the published videos to watch them without the need to connect to the Internet or mix them and create new content with them.

The platform said that publishers can disable the option to upload their videos if they decide to do so, and videos uploaded before the 25 of July will not be available for download.

Twitter has set age restrictions on the new feature, as account holders under the age of 18 will not be able to benefit from it.

Users can prevent videos in their Tweets from being downloaded after posting, an option available for each Tweet.

Verified account users can download video clips available for download by opening the video, clicking on the three dots at the top of the screen, and then selecting Download Video.

Twitter also allows subscribers of the Twitter Blue service to upload long videos of up to two hours, while the maximum video length for ordinary users does not exceed 140 seconds per video.
