Riyadh: The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that it issued warnings to more than 24,000 carriers, allowing them to rectify violations before penalties are applied. This came after over 434,000 inspections of land, sea, and rail transport activities across the Kingdom in March 2026, as part of the authority's ongoing efforts to raise safety standards, improve service quality, and boost competitiveness in the transport sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the TGA also reported high compliance rates across all modes of transport: the land transport sector achieved 91%, the maritime transport sector approximately 99%, and the rail transport sector 100%. These results reflect the commitment of licensed establishments and individuals to comply with the authority's regulations.
