Transport Authority Equips 17 Key Locations in Medina for Pilgrim Taxi Services

Medina: The Transport Authority has equipped more than 17 locations in Medina for public taxi services to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims. The General Transport Authority, in collaboration with the Madinah Region Development Authority, has prepared these strategic locations to enhance the movement of pilgrims and improve transportation services, aiming for smooth and comfortable access to crucial sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, these locations are situated at important spots, including Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, the Haramain High Speed Rail Station, Quba Mosque, several major hospitals, and significant shopping centers and historical sites that are popular among pilgrims visiting Madinah.

This initiative is part of the Authority's broader plan to advance public transportation services and uplift service quality. It aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to enrich the pilgrim experience and boost the efficiency of transportation infrastructure. The Authority is dedicated to providing a safe, efficient, and high-quality transportation environment for everyone.
