Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense urged the public to exercise caution as thunderstorms are expected to continue across most regions of the Kingdom until Monday. Residents are advised to stay in safe locations, avoid flood-prone areas and valleys, and refrain from swimming in them.
According to Saudi Press Agency, forecasts indicate that the Makkah and Riyadh regions will experience moderate to heavy rainfall, resulting in flash floods, hail, and strong downdrafts. Madinah, Aser, Hail, and Qassim regions are expected to receive moderate to heavy rain, while the Eastern Region will see moderate showers. Light to moderate rainfall is also expected in Tabuk, Al-Baha, Jazan, and Najran.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense emphasized the importance of following safety instructions issued through official channels.
