Thunderstorms and Hail Expected in Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Light to moderate thunderstorms accompanied by hail are expected in parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, and Aseer regions. Fog formation is likely in these areas, with active and dust-stirring winds also predicted to affect parts of Makkah, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Red Sea will experience northeasterly to northwesterly winds in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly winds in the southern part, with speeds ranging from 20-50 km/h. Waves are expected to range from one meter to two and a half meters, leading to choppy sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will blow from the northwest to the north at similar speeds of 20-50 km/h. Sea conditions are expected to be choppy, with waves also ranging from one meter to two and a half meters.
