Makkah: The Hadiyah Charity Association for Pilgrims and Visitors has allocated more than two million bottles of cold drinking water during the holy month of Ramadan. The bottles are distributed to worshippers and Umrah performers along roads leading to the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, as well as at the Haramain High Speed Railway in Makkah, Al-Laith entry point, and other routes used by pilgrims and visitors. The initiative aims to serve worshippers and ease the challenges of movement and crowding during the holy month.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the water distribution project extends the association's mission to care for pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors while providing quality field services. Volunteer and field teams distribute chilled water in high-density areas to enhance comfort and safety.

CEO of the association Eng. Turki Al-Hetershi affirmed that the project reflects the values of generosity and social solidarity that characterize Saudi society. He added that the association aims to distribute 2,100,000 bottles of water during Ramadan to ensure that worshippers and Umrah performers have access to cold water that eases the fatigue of travel and reflects the care and hospitality of the Kingdom.
