Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Expected in Al-Baha and Makkah Regions

Riyadh: thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are expected to impact parts of the Al-Baha and Makkah regions, extending to the southern parts of Madinah Region's highlands. Residents in these areas are advised to prepare for possible disruptions and to stay informed about the latest weather updates.

According to Saudi Press Agency, The National Center for Meteorology forecasts that the weather will remain cold to very cold in parts of Hail, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions, as well as the northern parts of the Eastern Region. Dust-stirring winds are anticipated in these areas, as well as in Tabuk, Madinah, and Makkah regions, extending to the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

Winds over the Red Sea are expected to be northeasterly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southerly in the southern part, with speeds ranging from 20-50 km/h. Wave heights will vary from one meter to over two meters, indicating that the sea conditions will range from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, wind patterns are expected to be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 20-40 km/h. Wave heights are anticipated to range from one to two meters, with relatively calm sea conditions expected.
