Thunderstorms and Dusty Winds Expected Across Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating thunderstorms in parts of Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, Madinah, Makkah, and Al-Baha regions. Dust-stirring winds are anticipated in these areas, as well as in parts of Riyadh and Qassim regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, fog is expected to form in parts of the Eastern Region and the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. The forecast also detailed wind conditions over the Red Sea, predicting southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the northern and central parts at speeds of 10-25 km/h, and southerly to southeasterly winds in the southern part at speeds of 20-55 km/h. The wave heights may vary from half a meter to over two meters, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds are expected to be northeasterly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to northwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 10-25 km/h. The wave heights in this area may reach from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will remain calm.
