Thunderstorms and Dust-Stirring Winds Expected Across Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Thunderstorms accompanied by hail are anticipated in several regions of Saudi Arabia, including Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Eastern, and Tabuk. Dust-stirring winds are also expected to affect parts of these regions, along with Al-Jouf, Hail, and Qassim.

According to Saudi Press Agency, fog is likely to form during the night and early morning hours in the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to northerly at speeds ranging from 21-42 km/h, with waves between one and two meters, keeping the sea relatively calm.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 22-50 km/h. Wave heights may vary between one and two and a half meters, resulting in sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.
