Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast moderate to heavy thundershowers, accompanied by hail and active winds, potentially leading to flash floods in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Light to moderate thundershowers are expected in Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, and Najran regions. Rain may also fall in parts of Eastern, Riyadh, and Qassim regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly in the northern part, and southwesterly to southerly in the southern and central parts at speeds of 12-50 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to two meters, making the sea calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to southerly at speeds of 10-26 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to one meter, and the sea will remain calm.
