Riyadh: Czech karate coach and falcon breeder Ilian Kirov, owner of BG FALCONS farm, has returned to participate in the 2025 International Falcon Breeders Auction, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club at its headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The event runs until August 25 and features participation from prominent local and international falcon breeding farms.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Kirov expressed his enthusiasm for returning this year following the success of his debut participation in 2024, and praised the Saudi Falcons Club for its support and the excellent logistical services it provides to the participants.

This year, Kirov is presenting 13 falcons at the auction. He noted that his first experience gave him valuable insights into the market and helped him better prepare for this year's edition. Originally a karate coach, Kirov has worked with the Saudi Karate Federation since 2002 and began coaching the national youth team 23 years ago. His passion for falcons developed alongside his sports career, leading him to establish a breeding and production farm.

The International Falcon Breeders Auction, the largest of its kind in the world, has become an annual gathering point for falconers and breeders from around the globe, reflecting the Saudi Falcons Club's commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of falconry.
