Tayma: The third Agricultural Products Festival kicks off today in Tayma Governorate, showcasing participation from over 30 farmers and exhibitors, alongside several government entities and non-profit organizations. The event is organized by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's Tabuk Region branch and will run for four days.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Director General of the ministry's branch in Tabuk, Amjad Thalab, emphasized that the festival aims to highlight Tayma Governorate's agricultural products, which include a range of crops, palm tree produce, fodder, grains, and vegetables. The event is designed to support the agricultural sector in Tabuk Region and aims to raise community awareness about the importance of local agricultural production.
The festival features more than 30 sections, including a dedicated area for children to learn the fundamentals of agriculture and explore various farming tools. Additionally, an agricultural guidance corner is set up to educate attendees on modern farming techniques and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
The festival aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by empowering small-scale producers and enhancing food security across the Kingdom. This initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the local economy and encourage sustainable agricultural development in the region.
