Riyadh: The third Hafr Al-Batin International Rural Health Conference 2026, which commenced yesterday, is continuing with wide participation from rural health specialists from within and outside the Kingdom.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference is organized by the Hafr Al-Batin Health Cluster and features various scientific and specialized sessions addressing strategic planning and the sustainable development of rural health systems. Discussions also focus on challenges facing remote areas, reviewing health initiatives, exploring development ideas, and analyzing international models and best practices.
CEO of the Hafr Al-Batin Health Cluster Dr. Turki Abdullah AlMogbel stated that the conference has become a well-established platform for bringing together experts, specialists, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and envision the future of rural healthcare. He emphasized that the first two editions of the conference demonstrated that prioritizing rural health is not optional, but a strategic necessity that directly impacts quality of life across the Kingdom.
