The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Approves Holding Conference of Communication with Departments of Religious Affairs, Ifta, Sheikhdoms in the World in Makkah, Muharram 26-27

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has approved that the Islamic conference titled “Communication with the Departments of Religious Affairs, Ifta and Sheikhdoms in the World” to be held in Makkah from Muharram 26 to 27, 1445 Hijri.

The conference, which is organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, will be attended by 150 scholars from 85 countries, including muftis, heads of Islamic associations and sheikhdoms, intellectuals and academics from several international universities who will discuss topics like moderation, extremism, terrorism, tolerance and coexistence.

The conference aims to strengthen communication and integration between the departments of religious affairs, Ifta and sheikhdoms in the world to achieve the principles of moderation, promote the values of tolerance and coexistence, highlight their roles in emphasizing the need to adhere to the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah, serve Islam and Muslims, promote the Islamic unity, fight extremist ideas, protect societies from atheism, and demonstrate the Kingdom’s unique experience in the Islamic call, spreading the principles of mercy and preserving values.
