The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that more than 16,000 people took advantage of the lanes and parking places allocated to taxis transporting people to Riyadh International Book Fair 2023, as well as of ride-hailing services used for the same purpose.
More than 9,000 trips were thus made by these means of transportation in the period September 28 to October 7.
TGA said that the initiative was taken for the purpose of offering people multiple transport options, improving traffic in the areas surrounding the fair, and improving visitors' safety, security, comfort and satisfaction.
