Taif: The Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development Program (Saudi Reef) launched an initiative today to promote rural tourism in Taif Governorate. The four-day event aims to showcase the region's rich agricultural and cultural heritage, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience authentic rural life in a vibrant winter setting.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Reef Assistant Secretary-General for Media and Communication Majed Al-Buraikan emphasized the initiative's focus on highlighting the region's renowned agricultural products, particularly Taif roses and aromatic plants. He also underscored the program's role in empowering local farmers and supporting the marketing of their products.
Al-Buraikan noted that this initiative is part of Saudi Reef's broader efforts to promote rural tourism as a key driver of sustainable economic development. The event is one of several initiatives designed to explore and leverage the agricultural and tourism potential of various regions across the Kingdom.
