Tabuk: Every summer, Tabuk's farms transform into a lush green landscape adorned with pear trees bearing what farmers call "fruits of gold." Thanks to its temperate climate, fertile soil, and dedicated farmers, Tabuk produces the finest pear varieties, supplying the Kingdom's markets with fresh, high-quality crops and solidifying its status as a vital national agricultural hub.
According to Saudi Press Agency, pear cultivation is extensive in the region, boasting over 15,000 trees and an annual production capacity exceeding 750 tons. Peak production occurs in July and August, when the fruit reaches optimal ripeness.
This agricultural abundance stems from the integrated efforts of farmers and relevant authorities, notably the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture Tabuk branch, which guides farmers on modern practices.
Tabuk's fertile environment makes it a preferred destination for investors and farmers, with over 14,000 farms spanning 270,000 hectares. These farms yield diverse crops, including pears, peaches, apricots, grapes, and various vegetables.
