Damascus: President of the Syrian Arab Republic Ahmed al-Sharaa welcomed Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and his high-level economic delegation at Tishreen Palace in Damascus on Saturday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Faisal began the meeting by conveying greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to President al-Sharaa and the Syrian populace.
The discussions centered on bilateral relations, with an emphasis on regional security and stability. Both parties explored strategies to bolster Syria's economy and enhance its national institutions to meet the aspirations of the Syrian citizens.
Following the talks, President al-Sharaa hosted a luncheon to honor the Saudi foreign minister and the visiting delegation.
The meeting was attended by key figures including Advisor to the Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan, Advisor at the Royal Court Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, Saudi Ambassador to Syria Faisal Al-Mujfal, Director General of the General Administration for Arab Countries Ghazi Al-Anzi, and Director General of the Minister's Office Walid Al-Samaeel.
