– The State of Qatar is taking part in the International Conference on Women in Islam: Status and Empowerment” which is organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Nov. 6 to 8 in Jedda, with broad regional and international participation.

– The State of Qatar participated in the Fourth Gulf Conference on Cybersecurity Challenges, hosted by the State of Kuwait from Nov. 6-9.

– The State of Qatar has reiterated its continuous support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), to enable the agency fulfill its mandate, which is indispensable in light of the challenges facing the Palestinian cause.

– Al Qubaib Mosque, also known as Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani Mosque, which is located on Al Ahmad Street in the New Markets area in Doha, is a cultural landmark that reflects the excellence of heritage architecture and the aesthetics that combines the strength of the structure and the beauty of the model.

– The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) organized a training program on emotional intelligence skills, leadership personality traits, and influencers in the workplace, which was held at the Barzan Hall in the ACTA building, running November 5-7.

-The Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) announced the resumption of horse racing at Al Rayyan Racecourse on Wednesday, after the postponement in recent weeks due to weather conditions.

– The draw for the Water Polo Tournaments for the World Aquatics Championships – Doha 2024 scheduled to be held from Feb. 2 to 18, was held today.

– The Qatar Billiards and Snooker Federation (QBSF) President Mohamed Al Ramzani, considered that Doha has become a destination for hosting the largest global and continental billiards and snooker championships annually, pointing out that Dohas current hosting of nine world championships in a row is the greatest evidence of the Qatari reputation for hosting the most prominent sporting events.

– Al Duhail lost to Al Nassr (KSA) 3-2 in the Group E of the AFC Champions League match that took place at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha on Tuesday.

– Al Duhail coach Christophe Galtier expressed great disappointment as his team lost hope in competing in the AFC Champions League, after losing to the Saudi Al Nassr 3-2, in the match that was played at Khalifa Stadium in Matchday 4 of Group E.
