Al-khabra: Sukkari dates have made a strong showing at Al-Khabra and Riyadh Al-Khabra dates festival market, accounting for more than 70% of sales in August amid rising demand from shoppers and traders.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Saleh Al-Abri, a date vendor at the market, said he had received large orders since the festival opened in early August from cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah, and Abha. He noted that Sukkari dates accounted for most shipments and described this year's crop as exceptional in quality.
Alongside Sukkari, the market offers a wide selection of other date varieties, catering to different consumer preferences and meeting local market needs.
