Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce announced the recall of 84,639 Toyota Camry vehicles from model years 2025 and 2026 due to a defect in the instrument panel system.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the defect may prevent important information from being displayed and could also cause the turn signals, warning lights, and audible alerts for the ignition key and seatbelts to malfunction, potentially increasing the risk of accidents.
The ministry urged owners of the affected vehicles to contact the local dealer, Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, at the toll-free number 8004400055 to have the vehicles' systems reprogrammed free of charge.
Owners can check whether their vehicle's chassis number is included in the recall campaign through the Defective Products Recall Center website at Recalls.sa.
