According to Saudi Press Agency, overlooking the Abha Valley Dam, the park offers sweeping views extending to the Tihama escarpments to the south. It has quickly become a favorite destination for photography enthusiasts and professionals alike, particularly at sunrise and sunset when fog creates an enchanting atmosphere.
The view from Star and River Park feels cinematic, with clouds embracing mountain peaks, lush greenery blending with the hues of the sky, and a horizon gently brushing the contours of the Tihama plains below. This experience highlights the richness of Aseer’s natural landscape.
The site is part of a series of tourism initiatives launched by Aseer Municipality to enhance the quality of tourist experiences by developing scenic viewpoints and improving infrastructure at open-air destinations, transforming them into vibrant economic and cultural hubs.
