Riyadh: The Saudi informatics team is participating in the 37th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2025), held in Sucre, Bolivia, from July 27 to August 3.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Kingdom began participating in this competition in 2019 and has since established a strong presence, winning a total of eight international awards to date, including six bronze medals and two certificates of appreciation.
The IOI is an annual global competitive programming competition for high school students. First held in 1989 in Bulgaria, it is now regarded as one of the most prestigious computer science competitions worldwide.
