Taif: Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee (SOPC) Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed received an honorary 6th Dan black belt from World Taekwondo President Chungwon Choue during their meeting at the Taif Camel Racing Track in Taif Governorate. According to Saudi Press Agency, World Taekwondo awarded the honorary belt in recognition of Prince Fahad's efforts to support taekwondo globally and promote the international sports movement through Saudi Arabia's hosting of major tournaments and a diverse range of sporting events, helping serve athletes' aspirations and ambitions worldwide. The honorary belt is awarded exclusively to heads of state and sports leaders who support the sport's development. The presentation took place on the sidelines of Saudi Arabia's participation in the 15th General Assembly of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), held in Taif Governorate. The assembly brings together leaders of Olympic committees from 57 Islamic countries, along wit h numerous leaders of international sports federations and organizations.
