Riyadh: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia and his accompanying delegation left Riyadh today after participating in the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit. He was seen off at King Khalid International Airport by Saudi Ambassador to Somalia Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Mawlid, Somali Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Owais Haji Yusuf Ahmed, and several other officials. According to Saudi Press Agency, President Mohamud's visit to Riyadh was part of his engagement in the summit, which brought together leaders from the Arab and Islamic world to discuss pressing regional issues.
