RIYADH: Ceer, Saudi Arabia's first electric vehicle (EV) brand, a joint venture between the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (Foxconn), has signed a partnership agreement with Rimac Technology for the supply of high-performance, fully integrated Electric Drive Systems for its upcoming flagship range of EVs. According to Saudi Press Agency, the collaboration was made official at a signing ceremony held at Rimac in Croatia, attended by Rimac Technology CEO Mate Rimac and Ceer CEO James DeLuca. DeLuca stated that Ceer is pleased to be the first company and large-scale project in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to partner with Rimac Technology. This partnership aims to equip Ceer's flagship vehicles with advanced high-performance electric drive systems and solutions. Rimac's reputation and expertise in designing cutting-edge performance powertrain systems align with Ceer's strategic goals. The collaboration is a significant step in fulfilling their commitment to delivering wor ld-class, high-performance electric vehicles and revolutionizing the automotive industry in Saudi Arabia.
