Sit-In by Relatives of Islamist Detainees at Tripoli’s Al-Nour Square

Tripoli: Relatives of Islamist detainees staged a sit-in today at "Al-Nour Square" in Tripoli, calling for a general amnesty law and raising photos of several detainees. Protesters demanded "total justice that excludes no one" and called for the release of detainees from Akkar, Minyeh, Tripoli, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the demonstrators emphasized that "political vindictiveness persists in Lebanon in matters of justice, development, and beyond." They voiced their concerns about the ongoing detentions and highlighted the need for a more inclusive approach to justice in the country.
