Phnom penh: Shura Council Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh engaged in talks with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate, during an official visit to Cambodia. The visit included a delegation from the Shura Council. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Cambodian Senate President underlined the importance of Al Al-Sheikh's visit, emphasizing how exchanges between legislative bodies contribute to reinforcing parliamentary and bilateral relations. Al Al-Sheikh expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and underscored the strong connections between Saudi Arabia and Cambodia. He discussed the Kingdom's achievements under its leadership and Vision 2030, remarking on the significant advancements in various sectors. Furthermore, both leaders explored avenues to enhance cooperation between their entities, focusing on the role of parliamentary visits in strengthening ties. They also acknowledged the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations, while also addressing several shared interests.
