Shura Council Holds its 26th Ordinary Session

The Shura Council held its 26th Ordinary Session of the 3rd year today, with Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, its Speaker, presiding over the meeting. The council discussed several reports presented by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, the Trade and Investment Committee, and the Energy and Industry Committee.

During the meeting, the Shura Council approved two draft memorandums of cooperation between the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan. The memorandums pertain to the field of hydrogen and ammonia fuel and its derivatives, as well as the field of the circular carbon economy and carbon recycling.

The Shura Council also discussed several issues on its agenda
