Shanghai International Studies University Delegation Visits King Faisal Center

Riyadh: King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS) Chairman of the Board of Directors Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz welcomed a delegation from Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) at the KFCRIS's headquarters in Riyadh. The visit aimed to enhance academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, KFCRIS Secretary-General Princess Maha bint Mohammed bin Faisal and Assistant Secretary-General for Scientific Affairs Abdullah Hamidaddin were in attendance. The visit included a tour of the KFCRIS's manuscripts department, where the delegation viewed some of the rarest and most prominent manuscripts owned by the KFCRIS. The collection represents a rich intellectual and cultural heritage that reflects the development of Islamic and Arab civilizations.

SISU previously awarded an honorary doctorate to Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the fields of diplomacy and strategic thought, as well as his role in promoting dialogue among cultures and civilizations.

The SISU visiting delegation included University Council Chair Professor Yin Dongmei along with several officials from the China-Arab Research Center on Reform and Development.
