Second Aseer Investment Forum Launches with Strong Attendance

Aseer: Under the patronage of Governor of Aseer and Chairman of Aseer Region Development Authority Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, the second edition of the Aseer Investment Forum kicked off today, featuring the participation of several ministers, senior officials, investors, and experts from within the Kingdom and abroad.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum is part of the authority's efforts to position the region as a leading investment destination. The second edition brings together 1,500 guests, including leaders from various development sectors, investors, and decision-makers, to explore ways to enhance the investment environment in the region and promote collaboration between the public and private sectors, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The event features five main sessions discussing key aspects of the investment landscape in Aseer Region and opportunities in tourism, technology, infrastructure, and the creative economy. It highlights the role of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) in supporting development through its distinctive projects, as well as the contributions of its affiliated companies in accelerating growth and promoting sustainability.

It also introduces several unique projects presented for the first time, expected to strengthen Aseer's position on both the national and international economic maps.

Furthermore, the forum features specialized workshops on financing tourism, empowering investors, developing legislation, and presenting investment opportunities. The event also includes an exhibition showcasing various projects and a dedicated area for supporting entities. Several agreements and partnerships between the public and private sectors are expected to be signed.

In its second edition, the forum reaffirms Aseer Region's commitment to achieving comprehensive development through the fair distribution of investment opportunities across its governorates, the enhancement of the region's environmental and cultural character, and the integration of government and community efforts to build a comprehensive and sustainable investment model.

The forum serves as a strategic platform to strengthen national and international partnerships, stimulate quality investments, and enhance the region's readiness to host major projects as part of a national drive toward a thriving economy, a vibrant society, and global recognition for all regions of the Kingdom.
